Southworth promotes importance of environmental stewardship as part of their “Bond with the Environment” campaign
Agawam, Massachusetts – June 9, 2008 – Southworth Company, producer of Southworth® brand premium paper products, announced today that Pamela Molnar, Office Manager at Gibson, Ferring & Riggs of Mesa, Arizona, is the recipient of their eco-friendly trip to the Florida Keys. This trip was offered as a grand prize to attendees who visited the Southworth Company booth at the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) 37th Annual Educational Conference and Exhibition that took place May 5-8, 2008 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, Washington. The trip was part of the Company’s “Bond with the Environment” campaign.
“This was a great event for us to showcase our eco-friendly grades of paper and we wanted to offer attendees a chance to win an eco-friendly trip to remind people of the importance of environmental stewardship,” stated David Southworth, President of Southworth Company. “We had hundreds register for this grand prize, and we are happy to report that Pamela Molnar’s name was selected during our random drawing after the event.” The drawing was conducted by Doherty, Wallace, Pillsbury & Murphy in Springfield, MA on Thursday May 22nd and validated last week.
The prize package is valued at $3500 and includes flight, three nights lodging (including taxes), ground transportation, meals/drinks and select water sports for two people.
“I still can hardly believe I’m the real grand prize winner,” exclaimed Pam Molnar when presented with her oversized boarding pass. “Not only will this vacation take us across the country, but we’re also going to experience things we’ve never done before including dolphin encounters, snorkeling and touring the Everglades – something this Arizonan NEVER would have expected. Seattle was already at the top of my list of one of the best conferences I’ve attended – thanks to Southworth, it’s definitely one I’ll never forget!”
