A research study conducted among business decision-makers recently proved that the use of Southworth's Fine Business Papers in résumés and business proposals lead to more positive impressions and more positive business decision outcomes than documents printed on ordinary copy paper. Moreover, documents printed on the Southworth paper were perceived as being more professional looking, clearer, better organized, more detailed and more specific. Furthermore, they felt the writers of documents printed on the Southworth paper possessed superior personal attributes such as a more positive personality, greater enthusiasm and greater skill. This is despite the fact that the research was conducted so that the document content, font and layout seen by both groups was identical!
The majority of respondents who preferred the documents written on Southworth Fine Business Paper also felt that those who chose this paper took pride in their work. They believed that the paper added credibility to the documents.
