Cullen Rodgers has joined Southworth as Director of Business Development, Social Expressions
Agawam, Massachusetts (August 30, 2007). – Looking to augment their product offerings across all channels and, specifically, to grow within the more creative realm, Southworth announced the appointment of Cullen Rodgers as Director of Business Development. Rodgers will head up the company’s more sophisticated, design-oriented product line, Social Expressions.
“Cullen is that dynamic and rare blend of business intelligence and design savvy,” said David Krysh, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “His impressive background in marketing as well as his considerable design sense will add a great deal to Southworth’s Social Expressions line in product, brand and channel development.”
As the former Director of Marketing and Product Development for C.R. Gibson in Nashville, Rodgers managed and directed all facets of the mass market division, handling product needs for Target, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, QVC and K-Mart. He directed and conceptualized with the in-house creative team to create fresh, innovative, top-selling products, including product design, packaging and presentations.
Additionally, with the goal of continually building better product opportunities, Rodgers fostered and maintained effective retail partnerships in product development, and utilized strategic partner and key account information to conduct and monitor trend analyses.
Rodgers graduated with a BA in Economics from Emory University in 1991.
